We have 1 small Tapping machine at our workshop. This tool typically involves 5 hammers arranged in a line. These hammers create heavy impacts on a surface by rising and pressing alternatively. The noise generated in each frequency band enables one to determine the vibrational frequency spectrum of the impact. This helps to gauge the insulation in service pipes, tanks, floors etc.
Big Tapping machines enable sound insulation for bigger objects. We have one Big Tapping apparatus which is a shaft-driven device with a sturdy frame holding the tapping shaft in place. For simple operations, the shaft rotates through a smooth bearing system. A tap holder is mounted on the shaft tip. This machine produces precise tapping results for screw threads that are exactly matched.
